Dakar recently welcomed The Herds, a powerful artistic performance where giant animal puppets moved through the streets of Médina, drawing attention to the urgent reality of the climate crisis. Blending public art, storytelling, and performance, the project invited residents and passersby to reflect on humanity’s relationship with nature and the challenges facing our planet. Behind the scenes, careful coordination helped bring the artworks and the artists safely into the city and through the streets. A reminder that strong logistics can play an important role in helping cultural initiatives reach communities and create meaningful impact.
